Tenant settings
Tenant settings are the values that apply to everything in one customer tenant rather than to a single source or dashboard. They are agreed when the deployment is onboarded.
Settings#
| Setting | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Display name | The name of the tenant shown in the console |
| Time zone | How times are presented, and where the day boundary falls for daily metering |
| Languages | The languages the console and the copilot work in: Thai and English |
| Retention schedule | How long raw telemetry and aggregates are kept |
| Language model endpoint | The provider and region the copilot and investigator call, shown as configured |
Time zone#
The tenant time zone is used to present times, including in the log views. It also sets the day for source metering: a source's usage and its daily allowance are counted per day in the tenant time zone (see Sources).
Languages#
The copilot answers in Thai and English, and technical identifiers stay as they are in either language (see Copilot).
Retention#
Raw telemetry is kept for 90 days by default, and aggregates used by reports are kept longer. There is one agreed schedule for all the data a deployment stores (see Deployment and operations).
Language model endpoint#
The endpoint is agreed for the deployment, including its provider and region. The console shows it as configured. Your data is not used to train models.
What is not set here#
The tenant itself, the identity provider and the members and their roles are not configured in the browser. They are set explicitly when your deployment is onboarded (see Roles and access).
Limits and defaults#
| Item | Default | Agreed per deployment |
|---|---|---|
| Raw telemetry retention | 90 days | Yes |
| Aggregate retention | Longer than raw | Yes |
| Language model provider and region | None assumed | Yes |
