Getting started
MonitOps documentation
MonitOps is an IT operations platform. It observes the services, systems and sources you connect to it, detects and groups problems into incidents, explains probable causes with evidence, forecasts limits before they are reached, and carries out approved recovery actions with verified results. Customer journeys are one of the things it models, so an incident is judged by what customers feel as well as by what servers report.
Features#
Every problem follows one lifecycle: detect, correlate, explain, act, verify. Each card leads to the article that describes that part.
- ConnectOpenTelemetry in, masked on arrival.
- ModelServices, systems and journeys on one map.
- DetectAlarm definitions, baselines and silence.
- CorrelateRelated alerts grouped into one incident.
- ExplainRanked causes, each with cited evidence.
- ActCatalogued actions with separate approval.
- VerifyResolved only when recovery is confirmed.
- DeliverTickets, alarms and logs sent to your tools.
Where to start#
- Operators working incidents: Console tour, then Incidents and Cause assessment.
- Administrators connecting systems: Concepts, then Connect a source and Sources.
- Security reviewers: Masking, Credentials, Roles and access and Deployment and operations, together with the Security and Trust pages.
The Product page walks through the sample incident INC-20931 from the first signal to verified recovery, and the Integrations page lists what MonitOps connects to.
